Teresyta Ayala Monjo
I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, as the second of three sisters. My great inspiration in the world of mariachi music was my father, Gerardo Ayala, who was also my teacher at the age of 10. He formed a children's mariachi group for girls with the same passion for mariachi music.
Years later, I belonged to a mariachi called Santa Cecilia in the city of San Jose, California, where I stayed for 4 years.
Later, I joined a mariachi in Des Moines, Iowa, for 2 years. Afterward, I had the wonderful opportunity to join Mariachi Bonitas de Dinorah, where I currently share and learn from my talented colleagues.
We work and bring joy to many people. I am very grateful and happy to be part of my Mariachi Bonitas!
Nací en Guadalajara, Jalisco, como la segunda de tres hermanas. Mi gran inspiración en el mundo de la música de mariachi fue mi padre, Gerardo Ayala, quien también fue mi maestro a la edad de 10 años. Él formó un mariachi infantil de niñas con la misma pasión por la música mariachi.
Años después, pertenecí a un mariachi llamado Santa Cecilia en la ciudad de San José, California, donde permanecí por 4 años.
Luego, me integré a un mariachi en Des Moines, Iowa, por 2 años. Después, tuve la grandiosa oportunidad de unirme al Mariachi Bonitas de Dinorah, donde actualmente comparto y aprendo de mis talentosas compañeras.
